By ticking the agreement with personal data processing box, the Customer grants consent to Hotel "Paříž" Praha a.s., Identification No.: 63999188, with its registered office at U Obecního domu 1, 110 00 Prague, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, File Code B 3465, for the purpose of performing the obligation to inform customers as personal data subjects about the circumstances of their personal data processing within the provision of accommodation services, catering services, business messages and marketing within the meaning of Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (the so-called General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter only the “Regulation”).
This document applies to all persons communicating with employees of Hotel "Paříž" Praha a.s. for the purpose of providing accommodation, catering services or the rendered management and promotional services (hereinafter only the “Customers”). Hotel "Paříž" Praha a.s. as the personal data controller is obliged to ensure that all Customers will have the opportunity to become familiarised with the document content, and to provide them with any additional information needed for full understanding.

Use of the Customer computer's IP address for collection of statistical data concerning website users, monitoring of both current and historical traffic, user behaviour and their features on the Controller’s website for marketing and promotional purposes of the Controller in the form of the Google Analytics service.
The consent is granted for the period of existence of the subject of the Controller’s business; the Customer is entitled to withdraw the consent at any time in writing by e-mail sent to marketing@hotel-paris.cz.
Withdrawal of the consent is without prejudice of the legality of the personal data processing until the withdrawal.
No customer profiling or automated personal data processing is performed during the processing of a Customer's personal data.

What information is collected and for what purpose?
Hotel "Paříž" Praha a.s. processes the identification and address data of Customers, i.e., their name, surname, date of birth, correspondence address, telephone contact, e-mail address, passport number, citizen ID card number, and length of stay. Furthermore, the personal data is processed for making payments, i.e., the credit card number, for the purpose of keeping records of the Customers’ data in concluding accommodation contracts.
For the purposes of booking, the Company also processes the personal data on preferences, special diets and the special requirements of Customers.
Processing of such personal data is performed based on Article 6 (1)(b) of the EU Regulation – for performance of the contract, to which the data subject is a party, or for taking measures accepted prior to the conclusion of the contract upon the request of such data subject. The recipients of such personal data are employees of Hotel "Paříž" Praha a.s. and the state authorities within a civil procedure or another procedure, where appropriate. The period of archiving the guest records is 180 days, and the period of archiving the accounting documents is subject to Act No. 563/1991 Coll., on accounting; accounting documents are archived for 5 years.
Moreover, Bookassist, its branches and subsidiaries have access to the address data and identification data of Customers.
Furthermore, Hotel "Paříž" Praha a.s. processes personal data – e-mail address for maintaining Customer data for the purpose of sending newsletters, birthday cards and Christmas cards. The said personal data is processed by Hotel "Paříž" Praha a.s. based on Article 6 (1)(a) – agreement with personal data processing. The recipients of this personal data are the authorised employees of Hotel "Paříž" Praha a.s. The personal data is processed for the period of existence of the subject of business of Hotel "Paříž" Praha a.s.
Hotel "Paříž" Praha a.s. processes the address data and the identification data of Customers to acquire information for the purpose of administrative and judicial proceedings. This personal data is processed based on Article 9 (2)(f) – the data processing is necessary for establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. The recipients of this personal data are the authorised employees of Hotel "Paříž" Praha a.s., government and administration authorities. The personal data is archived for the period of investigations and for the period of the proceedings.
Hotel "Paříž" Praha a.s. keeps records for the purpose of fulfilling its legal obligation pursuant to Article 6 (1)(c) of the Regulation (based on Act No. 565/1990 Coll. on Local Fees), and also keeps house books for the purpose of fulfilling its legal obligation under Article 6 (1)(c) of the Regulation (based on Act No. 326/1999 Coll., on the Residence of Aliens), in which the following personal data is specified – period of accommodation, purpose of stay, name, surname, residence or residential address abroad, citizen ID card or passport number. This personal data is processed to perform the legal obligation. The recipients are authorised employees and the Police of the Czech Republic, Foreigner Police Section. The personal data is archived for six years.
In relation to processing purposes based on a legal regulation, for fulfilment of the contract or for exercise of the legitimate interests of Hotel "Paříž" Praha a.s., the provision of personal data by the Customer is obligatory and, in the event of refusal, Hotel "Paříž" Praha a.s. cannot provide the Customer with the offered services.
Hotel "Paříž" Praha a.s. is authorised to make recordings of the publicly accessible areas of the Hotel and some workplaces using camera surveillance systems to ensure the safety of the premises and protection of the property, life and health of its employees, Customers and other persons inside the premises. Hotel "Paříž" Praha a.s., is entitled to make such camera recordings on the basis of Article 6 (1)(f) – the processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests of the Hotel consisting in protecting the Hotel’s property, in providing evidence in the event of a breach of security measures for investigation purposes, judicial and administrative proceedings and the possibility of subsequent control of entry of persons into the Hotel’s premises.
Camera recordings made under this document are only accessible to selected employees authorised to access the data carriers used for temporary storage of recordings by virtue of their function. Camera recordings and data exports from them may only be provided to third parties (law enforcement authorities, courts) if their use is needed to apply the respective claims of Hotel "Paříž" Praha a.s., defence against claims filed by third parties, and in the case of investigations conducted by the said third parties. Records are kept for seven days and are then automatically recorded over.
Rights of customers as data subjects
- Right of access to personal data
The Customer is entitled to request that Hotel "Paříž" Prague a.s. enables access to the Customer’s personal data processed within the meaning of this document in the form of a statement of all processed personal data in relation to the individual processing purposes. The Customer is also entitled to request information about the processors processing their personal data based on an agreement with Hotel "Paříž" Praha a.s.
- Right to explanation and correction of personal data
In the case that the Customer believes that Hotel "Paříž” Praha a.s. is processing their personal data contrary to this document (especially contrary to the purposes and legal basis identified here) or contrary to legal regulations, the Customer is entitled to request explanation and subsequent remedy. If Hotel "Paříž” Praha a.s. processes inaccurate personal data of the Customer, the Customer is entitled to request data correction.
- Right to erasure of personal data
The Customer is entitled to request that Hotel "Paříž" Praha a.s. deletes the Customer's personal data, if such personal data ceased to be necessary for the specified processing purposes, the Customer has withdrawn its consent to the personal data processing (if previously granted), and there is no other reason for such processing, or where the Customer has raised objections against personal data processing and there are no overriding reasons for the processing.
- Rights to restrict the processing
The Customer is entitled to request that Hotel "Paříž" Prague a.s. restricts the personal data processing in the following cases:
- The Customer denies the accuracy of the processed personal data, for the period necessary for Hotel "Paříž" Prague a.s. to verify the accuracy of the processed data;
- The personal data processing is unlawful according to the Customer’s opinion, and the Customer refuses deletion of the personal data;
- Hotel "Paříž" Prague a.s. does not need the personal data for the specified purposes of processing, but the Customer requests it for establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
The personal data, in respect of which the right to limit the processing has been applied, shall not be subject to any processing operation (with the exception of their mere archiving until the purpose of the limitation is fulfilled), unless such processing has been approved by the Customer or is required to establish, exercise or defend legal claims or for reasons of protection of the rights of another natural or legal person, or for any other important interest of the European Union or the Czech Republic.
- Right to object to personal data processing
In the case of the personal data processing necessary for performing a task carried out in the public interest or for the purposes of legitimate interests of Hotel "Paříž" Prague a.s., the Customer is entitled to object to the processing of the Customer’s own personal data, if the Customer also provides the reasons concerning the particular situation. Based on the objection, Hotel "Paříž" Praha a.s. is obliged to terminate the personal data processing, unless it proves that the reason for processing consisting in the protection of its interests overrides the interests and freedoms of the Customer.
- Right to erasure of personal data
With regard to the fact that the Customer’s personal data processing by Hotel "Paříž" Praha a.s. fulfils the conditions for transferability of personal data within the meaning of Article 20 of the Regulation (the processing is performed based on consent and for reason of performance of contractual obligations), the Customer may submit the provided personal data to another controller. If technically possible, Hotel "Paříž" Praha a.s. will transfer the Customer’s personal data directly to the controller.
- The right to lodge a complaint
In the case of a suspicion that the Customer’s personal data processing by Hotel "Paříž" Praha a.s. contradicts the legal regulations or this document, or if Hotel "Paříž" Praha a.s. does not comply with any of the above-mentioned Customer requirements, the Customer is entitled to submit a complaint to the supervisory authority, which is the Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.cz).
In the case that Hotel "Paříž" Praha a.s. begins processing the Customer’s personal data for other purposes and in a different manner than resulting from this document, and personal data that is not governed by this document, it is obliged to inform the Customer about such processing to the extent according to this document; unless another legal basis for such processing is given, it is required to obtain the Customer’s consent for such processing.
Hotel "Paříž" Praha a.s. processes the personal data of customers manually or in an automated manner through its authorised employees or through a specialised provider in the position of a personal data processor (especially information system providers used for personal data processing having access to the respective databases within the service activities). Personal data is processed in electronic form with limited access by third parties, and in the form of electronic databases stored in the secured data storage facilities of Hotel "Paříž" Prague a.s.
No automated decision making or profiling takes place during the personal data processing of Customers, which would have any legal consequences for the Customer. Hotel "Paříž" Prague a.s. does not transfer any personal data to a third country outside the EU or to an international organisation.
